About
The Kane County Young Republicans serve a purpose to aid in the organizing and conduction of general elections, promote good government; instill a sense of individual obligation to the community, state, and nation; and to support the constitutional governments of the State of Illinois and the United States of America.
We are leaders putting conservative principles into action. We are the future of the Republican Party and we are fighting to keep the American Dream alive by recruiting new young conservatives, training future leaders and electing Republican candidates.
Our Executive Board
Chairman - Richard Artz
Vice Chairman - Jason Dollens
Richard Artz was elected to Chairman of the Kane County YRs in April 2024. He was elected as Co-Chair for the Illinois YRs in June 2024. Richard serves as the Chairman of the Rutland Township GOP. Richard currently serves as a Township Trustee for Rutland Township. He was a delegate to the 2025 National Young Republican Convention in Nashville.
Jason Dollens was elected as the Vice Chairman of the Kane County YRs in April 2024. Jason serves as a Trustee on the Kane County Regional Board of School Trustees since 2023. He is an appointed Precinct Committeeperson in St. Charles Township Precinct 4. He is a proud father of two.
Secretary - Jayden Badillo
Jayden Badillo was appointed as Secretary of the Kane YRs in September 2025. Jayden contributes to the Kane County GOP Fundraising Committee and the City of Aurora's Sister City Commission. He was elected as the Aurora Township GOP Vice Chair in 2025. Jayden is the founder of the Turning Points chapter at Aurora University. He was a delegate to the 2025 National Young Republican Convention in Nashville.
Treasurer - Jessica Bridges
Jessica Bridges was elected as the Treasurer of the Kane County YRs in April 2024. She was elected as Deputy Secretary of the Illinois YRs in June 2024. She previously served as Chairwoman of the Kane County YRs from 2022 to 2024. Jessica currently also serves as the Secretary for the St. Charles Township GOP. She is an elected Precinct Committeeperson in St. Charles Township Precinct 13 and is a proud mother of two.
